On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am delighted to share the 2021 Annual Report with our stakeholders and partners. In the ten years of our existence, we have discovered that one of the keys to successfully providing impactful services to our beneficiaries is the ability to learn and grow.
The world is a very different place now than it was in the year 2013, and over the years, while our vision and mission have remained constant, our programming and organizational approach has evolved to take into account the changes that globalization and technological advancements have brought to the communities in which we work.
We are always cognizant of the important role that our partners and stakeholders play in our continuing success and I would like to thank the following partners for their generous contributions towards our work in 2020: this year we made a few adjustments to our programming model to ensure that beneficiaries receive programmes that are relevant to them and connected to the future.
To this end, we added Skills Acquisition, and culture programmes to our offerings. We continue to emphasis the importance of our cultural and heritage as an important value to our society. but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. this program was not a success.
We decide to bring up this cultural events as a means of raising funds to enable us meet out goals and vision for the foundation, because over the years the foundation has been run on personal Funding. and we have realized the need to increase the literacy levels of public primary school pupils in Nigeria.
